On June 26, 2024, a Bioblitz event was held in Telegrafbukta, Tromsø, Norway. Participants, including school students, parents, and adults, gathered at the pier around 10:00 AM to explore the low tide and collect specimens. The focus was on identifying invertebrate animals in the sea. Later in the day, the collected specimens were examined and displayed outside Polaria and Oceania at the entrance to Framsenteret. This event was part of the EU project MARBEFES, which aims to organize BioBlitz events across four regions: Sopot (June 2023), Tromsø (June 2024), Dublin, and Sardinia in the following years. |
